About Us
Ministry Thru Drama has two primary goals. The first is to teach
Bibical principles that we too often fail to put into practice in our own
lives, and the other is to teach principles of ministry that are needed
to reach people for Christ. The goal of the director should be to use
the rehearsals as an opportunity to instill the concept of ministry in the
actors. Use that time to help them realize that even though they may
give the best "performance" possible, if hearts are not changed, they
have wasted their time, and more importantly, they have wasted God's time. They can be taught that "heart" changes only come through
prayer, because only God can change a heart. We have placed some
of these principles of ministry on the covers for quick reference (i.e. JESUS - Star of the show). Be prepared that often the biggest impact
will be on the actors themselves. They learn not only the Bibical
principles of the drama, but feel the humbling experience of seeing a
life changed because they have been willing to let GOD work through them. If you are working with Youth, remember that Youth Ministry
does not always have to mean adults ministering to youth. It can also mean YOUTH ministering to ADULTS. Drama is a great tool to give them. Have fun and stay on your knees. If you have any questions, comments, good reports, or just need a shoulder to cry
